Camp 3 News
Registration for the 2021 Iron Ring Ceremony is now closed. Students from Queen’s and RMC who did not register before the deadline will be eligible to participate as Senior Candidates in the 2022 ceremony. They are also welcome to enquire with other camps who may have later application deadlines for their ceremonies this year. Late registrations will not be accepted.
In 2021 there will be separate Iron Ring Ceremonies for Senior Candidates, Queen’s University students, and students of the Royal Military College of Canada.
You must attend and participate in the Ceremony in order to receive your ring and Obligation certificate.
The ceremony for Senior Candidates will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 14th. There will be three ceremonies for Queen’s University students on Sunday, March 21st at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Due to the pandemic these ceremonies will be held online, with rings and certificates mailed afterwards.
The ceremony for students of the Royal Military College of Canada will be held in mid-May.
We expect to mail rings and certificates to Queen’s students and Senior Candidates in early April. The deadline to exchange rings without fee will be 30 June 2021. This deadline will be extended if the initial mailing is delayed. The deadline for RMC students to exchange rings will be published once the RMC ceremony date is confirmed.
