Senior Candidate applications
Senior Candidate applications for the 2025 Engineering Obligation Ceremony are now open. See the instructions below.
Eligibility
Senior candidate status is available to anyone who:
- is or has previously been a fully-licensed professional engineer in Canada, or
- is a graduate of an accredited Canadian undergraduate engineering program, or
- has received confirmation of academic acceptability for licensure from a Canadian provincial or territorial regulator of professional engineering such as Professional Engineers Ontario.
If you are currently an undergraduate engineering student you should not apply using the Senior Candidate process; you will receive an invitation to register through your home university.
If your undergraduate degree is from outside Canada or is not from an accredited engineering programme, you will not qualify as a Senior Candidate unless you can provide documentation demonstrating eligibility under points 1 or 3 above. It is not necessary to have completed the licensure process, just the assessment of academic acceptability.
Application process
Complete the Senior Candidate Application form and email it, along with the required documentation, to seniorcandidates@camp3.ca. There is no application fee.
Applications must be received before midnight EST, January 6, 2025. Late applications will not be considered.
You will be notified of the outcome of your application not later than mid-January 2025. Registration for successful applicants will be open from mid-January through mid-February 2025.
